KeyBubblie & AriaBubblie Take Milan, Florence and Paris!

Hello!

Who likes traveling, fine dining (michelin starred!) and architectural wonders? We do!

3Dprinted versions of the BubblieKids (NasyaBubblie, AriaBubblie and KeyBubblie) have been going on amazing trips and posing for social media since last year (2014). This summer, latest versions of KeyBubblie and AriaBubblie got chance to explore the finest things in Milan, Florence and Paris. This is the first account of their amazing journey. Don’t forget to subscribe to follow their adventures ;)

We never took Emirates Business Class for Jakarta-Dubai-Milan before this, so we were quite taken with the constellation inspired night scene’s ceiling treatment.

It made us happy and appropriately sleepy. Ordered “nasi goreng” for the after midnight flight’s snack. Small portion, quite authentically Indonesian and nicely presented.

We were impressed by the humongous business class lounge in Dubai and was glad and thankful we got chance to rest there as our Dubai-Milan flight was delayed for many hours.

After many hours, we arrived in Milan and transported by Emirates’ complimentary chauffeur driven limos to our hotel.  Refreshed, the next day we explored the areas near our hotel by the famous cathedral (Duomo).

We admire architectural splendours everywhere we go as they are true products and testaments to art, history, creativity and imagination. AriaBubblie and KeyBubblie loveee the skylight dome at the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele so much. Very happy we got this shot :)

Summer Family Bonding in the Kitchen…

PapaBubblie & MamaBubblie #BubblesOfLoveCookieCutters

“A family needs leaders whom the kids shall love and respect wholeheartedly. Learning shall then occur…naturally.. ”

We love summers coz that means more time with the kiddos.

Among our most favorite things to bond with the kids is quality kitchen time.  We made some BubblieFamily’s cookiecutters with the MakerBot Replicator2 so you shall have even more fun time making cookies and such :) Please let us know if you got time to experiment with any and share with us your pics..

Happy Bonding! #bubblesoflovequotes http://www.bubblesoflove.net

Key Bubblie’s Tokyo Explorations : Tokyo Dome

Jakarta, Indonesia

My family went to Tokyo last December.

We took Key Bubblie (3Dprinted version 2.0), one of the main characters in Bubbles of Love, along with us. With this post and a few others, Key Bubblie will highlight his most memorable moments, hope you like them.. ;)

On one of the days, we went off to Tokyo Dome in search of some amusement for the kids as it came rather highly recommended by our friends who are Tokyo residents.

Tokyo Dome itself is a huge stadium which sits in Tokyo Dome City which also housed an amusement park. The area is spacious and well laid out so kids do not have to go elbow to elbow with stadium goers.  It also has a variety of family friendly restaurants, supermarkets and shopping venues.

We like the place, very family friendly, the amusement park has no cover charge and allows for per ride ticket thus very flexible for families who have a few kids with different preferences (like ours!).

It is especially good for families with kids above 6 years old as lots of rides are quite adventurous and unique.  Some are semi manual rides which could be great for extra workouts and family bonding!

Fun one, got to pull a string to bring yourselves up the pillar and then released it slowly to come down again

The amusement park also has an animals touching zoo.  Popular and good for families with younger kids (note: open ~10-17 only).  Spotted some dogs, goats, different kinds of rabbits among others.  No pictures because when we found it, they were tidying up to close for the day :p

To cap off the evening, we decided to have dinner at Moomin Cafe.

Enjoying a family meal with Moomin sitting at our table accompanying us was a heartwarming experience. The kids’ meals: uber cute!

On hindsight, should have dined during off hours coz dinner hours = 45-60 mins wait. Dining time’s also limited to 90 mins, so families with fussy eaters should be wary 😅.

Though we had ours at the Tokyo Dome we saw another Moomin Cafe at Tokyo Skytree a few days prior also sporting similarly long lines.

Till next time Bubblies!!

Meanwhile, Happy Bonding! :)

INVITATION: We Want Our Family to Include YOU!

Jakarta, Indonesia
Since the first few days of 2015 still afresh, we thought it would be good to get our resolutions for this year out in the open.
     #BubblieFamily’s 2015 resolution:
We ❤ #3Dprinting #music #stories #movements #crafts.  We found when we bond with our family, we discover many things from one another almost everyday.  In 2015, we want so much to expand our family to include YOU, sharing what we found and learning from one another!
Here are some notable specific resolutions of our characters. Spent quite some time yesterday trying to capture the pictures to get the “reflection” aspect and nuances in one frame per character ;). Hope you like them.
     Hello! I am #KeyBubblie of the #BubblieKids (#KeyBubblie #AriaBubblie #NasyaBubblie).
keybubblie 2015 resolution
My 2015 resolutions are:
1. To keep evolving.
I was a hand sketched character in 2011, a 2D by 2012, somewhat 3D through #clayarts in 2013 (pictured above as a pencil topper) and became a #3dprinted #3dprintable character by 2014. Looking forward to have more mobile limbs in 2015 :)
2. To travel more.
3. To make more music through bonding with my family & YOU.

 PJ resolution
I am #PinkJellyfish, #bff of the #BubblieKids from #Bubbliapolis!
My resolutions for 2015 :
1. Inspire my creator to make a #3dprinted version of me 😄
2. To bond more with my friends & family.
3. Find my #UniqueGreatness through awesome adventures with the #BubblieFamily.
4. Hopefully inspire more kids to have fun with us & discover themselves.
Lily Dawis: #BubblesOfLove’s resolution for 2015 is to share more of the love and learning that we found from bonding as a family in real life as well as through the musical, theatrical and moving adventures & discoveries of the #BubblieFamily and #BubblieKids characters.

After all, from birth & growth of the music to the stories to the characters have been quite amazing unexpected journeys.  The songs just flowed out of me since 8+ years ago starting from when I was craddling my days old firstborn in my arms.
Many more songs were born through bonding with my children perhaps as ways to convey my love & hopes for them beyond words.  Truly did not expect to publish any of the songs until they were discovered by legendary Indonesian producer #JamesFSundah.  The rest is history as it became the one & only album from Indonesia registered in the US Copyright office (since 2010). Then, the sharing began 💕

Goal, Daruma & 1.1.2015 (1+1+2+0+1+5 = 10 !)

Jakarta, Indonesia

Hellooo..!

We were in Tokyo, Japan for the last 11 days.. I will post more pics from our trip in the next few days.. but first, let me wish you the happiest most blessed new year ahead!

After all, if you add all the numbers in “1st of January 2015″ they all added up to a perfect 10. :)

Here is a photo of Key Bubblie posing with some mementos from Tokyo Disneyland as he got back home in Bubbliapolis.  Note that Mickey has been fashioned to resemble a Daruma doll. (These pieces feature exact packaging, front: Mickey Daruma, back: Minnie).

happy new year 2015 keybubblie

Japanese custom has it that a Daruma doll is generally used to help set one on track to reach a specific goal.  One eye is usually kept blank/white for owner/s to fill/draw on it when the goal has been reached.  On these particular ones, the Mickey Daruma has eyeballs which are not completely black.  Each of the eyeball has a slice of white (like Minnie’s).  I suppose, these pieces are loose interpretation of the Daruma custom and one is supposed to just close up the little gaps when goal has been reached?

Anyhow, let’s enjoy the new year with great hope that in 2015, with hard work, kindness and ingenuity many more days will be a perfect 10 and more of our goals will be reached! ;)

From Our Home to Yours?

Jakarta, Indonesia

What does this festive season mean to you? Very intrigued by a post from a friend whose holiday resolution started out by crossing out some words from

“BUY presents” to “BE present.”

Must admit, in the excitement and glitz of it all, we sometimes forget what’s most important.

Thus, those simple words ring a lot of truth. Let’s remember our priorities… in the midst of making our special ones feel special with gifts… let’s try to

*hold the brush-offs

*hold the anger

*hold the hectic-ness..

Coz.. first & most important of all, we must try to make it about spending quality time with our families..

Wishing you the jolliest of holidays and a superbly hopeful new year!
